CE 6 - WEEK VI SCHEDULE

Dear students,

Midterm 1 in CE 6 Integrated Skills will be held on April 8, 2020. at 10.30 a.m.

You can take your Midterm using MMTutor online testing application via this link:

http://test.singidunum.ac.rs/Student

You log in by selecting your faculty acronym from the drop-down menu and typing in your ID student number in the following format: year of enrollment + ID number without any characters or spaces (e.g. 2020123456).

For the duration of the test, I will be available on the Google Meet platform to answer any technical issues that may arise when running the test.

The test starts at 10.30 a.m. so make sure that you are logged in by 10.25 a.m. so that you have enough time to contact me should you have any technical issues.

ALL REGISTERED EMPLOYED STUDENTS shall take the test on the same day at 8 p.m. so make sure to log in by 7.55 p.m.

Only registered employed students are allowed to take the test at this time. Consequently, employed students cannot take the test at 10.30 a.m.

Dear students,

Our first midterm for Speaking is set for Saturday April 11th at 11 a.m. You will enter in groups of five, and each respond to a question related to modules 6 or 7 according to our Pioneer C1/C1+ book. Upon finishing the speaking portion, you will all take the listening part of the midterm together-you will hear the audio, and send me your responses within five minutes of its completion to npantelic@singidunum.ac.rs. Please remember to use your student email addresses when sending your responses.

We will use Google Meet for the purposes of this midterm: https://meet.google.com/dkk-wscj-ojp

The Listening portion will be held at 3 p.m., after everybody has completed their speaking section (please remain vigilant and follow the announcements, which I may update periodically, if a speaking group ends early or runs over-this depends on who shows up, and I have attempted to adapt accordingly). I will upload the list of questions to the course page, and we will remain in the group a few minutes to ensure everybody is there, after which I will play the listening audio clip twice. During our previous classes we encountered no obstacles for the listening portion, so I doubt we will face any surprises on Saturday. If the Internet cuts out, I will find an alternative and play the clip again from whatever part it cut out on.

Dear students,

your written section, Academic Writing, will be held on 6th April starting from 10.30 till 11.30.

The text that you need to paraphrase will be posted on the course webpage at 10.30 and your task is to send me a word file with your paraphrasing by 11.30. You should use your singimail account and send an email to: vboskovic@singidunum.ac.rs.

Dear all,

As previously agreed - our midterm test takes place on Saturday, 04 April, @ 11 a.m. During the morning - you can expect the confirmation concerning the groups (group I & II) - please pay specific attention to what group you belong :)

After that - @ 10.55 a.m. - two separate tests will be there waiting for you (one per group); what you do is download it - translate the given section and submit it via email within the time frame of 1 (one) hour.
